Created from paper masks and stop out, these hand pulled prints are a minimum of 5 colours. Each colour is pulled through the screen separately, combining both translucent and opaque pigments to build the image to its final conclusion.
The process is a voyage of discovery with some surprising successes and some learning curves. Editions are small numbered and signed. All prints come in a white mount so the size given includes this.

Lino printing is a form of Relief Printing that involves carving a pattern or design into a vinyl or traditional hessian backed plate. Single colours can be printed or a number of colours can be overlaid to create a full colour design.
A Collagraph is made by glueing different materials and textures to a cardboard plate to create a type of collage. Collagraph prints are individual as each inking within an edition is different. Ink is rubbed into the textures and printed on 300 gsm watercolour paper.
